1. About RosCar Hungary
RosCar Hungary is an online car rental aggregator. We provide users with access to rental offers from local and international car rental companies operating in Hungary.

2. Role of RosCar Hungary
RosCar Hungary acts as an intermediary between customers and independent car rental companies.
The vehicle rental service itself is provided by the car rental company shown in the booking confirmation or voucher.
The rental company is responsible for providing the vehicle, checking the driver’s documents, signing the rental agreement, collecting any remaining rental payment, and fulfilling the rental conditions stated in the confirmed offer.
Individual rental companies may apply their own rules regarding age limits, driving experience, accepted documents, insurance, fuel policy, mileage, cross border travel, additional drivers, vehicle use, and other rental conditions.

4. How to Book a Car
To rent a car through RosCar Hungary, the customer should complete the following steps:

The remaining rental amount is normally paid directly to the rental company at vehicle pickup according to the payment methods shown in the selected offer and booking voucher.
7. Payment at Pickup
Depending on the selected rental offer, the remaining balance may be payable using:
- Cash
- Debit card
- Credit card
- Another payment method accepted by the rental company
If the customer selects an offer that allows cash payment or debit card payment, the applicable payment condition will be displayed in the booking details.
The customer is responsible for checking the accepted payment method before confirming the reservation.
8. Car Rental Without a Deposit
RosCar Hungary provides access to selected rental offers that do not require a security deposit.
To find these offers, customers can use the appropriate search filter or select the no deposit option where available.
A no deposit offer means that the rental company does not require the standard security deposit specified for that particular booking.
Other charges may still apply in cases such as fuel shortages, traffic fines, damage not covered by the selected insurance, loss of keys, prohibited vehicle use, or other violations of the rental agreement.
9. Car Rental Without a Credit Card
Selected rental cars can be booked without using a credit card.
Customers should select the no credit card option when searching for suitable cars.
Depending on the rental company, payment may instead be accepted by debit card or cash.
The exact payment conditions are shown in the selected offer and booking confirmation.
10. Cash Payment
Some rental companies available through RosCar Hungary allow the remaining rental balance to be paid in cash when the vehicle is collected.
Cash payment availability depends on the selected car, rental location, supplier, and booking conditions.
The online booking prepayment is still required unless another condition is clearly stated during the booking process.
11. Debit Card Payment

12. Unlimited Mileage

If mileage is limited, the applicable limit and any excess mileage charge should be shown in the rental conditions.
13. Free Cancellation
Selected rental offers include free cancellation.
The exact cancellation deadline and conditions depend on the selected rental company and offer.
Customers should check the cancellation conditions displayed during the booking process and in the booking voucher.
A cancellation requested after the free cancellation period may result in partial or full loss of the online prepayment.
14. Airport Pickup

Depending on the supplier, vehicle pickup may take place at a rental desk inside the airport, in the airport parking area, at a nearby rental office, or through a representative meeting the customer at an agreed location.

Delivery availability depends on the rental company, location, vehicle, booking time, and selected rental conditions.

The customer should provide accurate delivery information and remain available at the agreed time.
16. Driver Requirements
The main driver must meet the requirements established by the selected rental company.
These requirements may include:
- Minimum driver age

- Valid driving licence

17. Driver Documents

The name entered in the reservation should correspond to the main driver’s identification and driving licence documents.
RosCar Hungary and the rental provider are not responsible for problems caused by incorrect, incomplete, or misleading information supplied by the customer.
19. Vehicle Category and Model
Rental offers may display a specific vehicle model together with wording indicating that a similar vehicle may be supplied.
Unless the selected offer explicitly guarantees a specific model, the rental company may provide another vehicle from the same or a comparable category.
The replacement vehicle should normally have similar characteristics in terms of size, transmission, passenger capacity, or general vehicle class.
20. Additional Options
Customers may be able to select additional services during the booking process, including:
- No deposit
- No credit card
- Insurance
- Full coverage
- Child car seat
- Additional driver
- Unlimited mileage
- Hotel delivery

Availability and price depend on the selected rental company and vehicle.
21. Insurance
Insurance conditions vary between rental companies and individual offers.

22. Security Deposit

23. Vehicle Pickup

Failure to arrive within the permitted pickup period without notice may be treated as a missed pickup.
24. Flight Delays

RosCar Hungary cannot guarantee that the rental company will hold the vehicle indefinitely in the event of a significant delay.
25. Missed Pickup
A missed pickup may occur if the customer does not arrive at the agreed time, does not provide the required documents, does not meet the rental conditions, or cannot complete the rental agreement.
In these circumstances, a refund may not be available depending on the rental company’s cancellation and missed pickup policy.
26. Rental Agreement
At vehicle pickup, the customer may be required to sign a separate rental agreement directly with the car rental company.
This agreement governs the actual use of the vehicle and may contain additional conditions relating to insurance, liability, fuel, mileage, vehicle use, fines, accidents, damage, and return procedures.
The customer should read the rental agreement carefully before signing it.
27. Fuel Policy
Fuel conditions depend on the selected rental provider.
The customer must return the vehicle according to the fuel policy stated in the rental agreement.
Additional charges may apply if the vehicle is returned with less fuel than required.
28. Traffic Fines and Violations
The customer is responsible for traffic fines, parking charges, toll charges, penalties, and other violations incurred while using the rental vehicle.
The rental company may charge an administration fee for processing fines or providing driver information to the relevant authorities where permitted by law.
29. Vehicle Damage
The customer should inspect the vehicle at pickup and ensure that existing damage is recorded in the rental documentation.
Any new damage occurring during the rental period may be handled according to the rental agreement and applicable insurance conditions.
In the event of an accident, theft, or significant damage, the customer should contact the rental company immediately and follow the instructions provided.
30. Vehicle Return
The vehicle must be returned to the agreed location, on the agreed date, and at the agreed time unless another arrangement has been approved by the rental company.
Late return, return to another location, excessive cleaning requirements, missing fuel, vehicle damage, or other differences from the agreed rental conditions may result in additional charges.
31. Changes to a Booking
Customers may contact RosCar Hungary to request changes to an existing reservation.
Booking changes are subject to vehicle availability and approval by the rental provider.
A change in rental dates, location, vehicle category, driver details, or optional services may result in a different rental price.
32. Cancellations
Cancellation conditions depend on the selected offer.
If free cancellation is included, the reservation may be cancelled without a cancellation charge before the deadline stated in the booking conditions.
After the applicable deadline, the online prepayment may become partially or fully non refundable depending on the confirmed booking conditions.
33. Refunds
Where a refund is approved, it will normally be processed using the original payment method where possible.
The time required for funds to appear in the customer’s account may depend on the payment provider, card issuer, or bank.
34. Prices
Rental prices displayed on RosCar Hungary are based on the information provided by rental companies and may depend on:
- Rental dates

- Return location

35. Currency

38. Limitation of Responsibility
RosCar Hungary makes reasonable efforts to display accurate information received from rental companies.
However, the actual rental service is performed by an independent rental provider.
RosCar Hungary is not responsible for acts or omissions of a rental company that are outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
39. Website Availability
We aim to keep the RosCar Hungary website accessible and functioning correctly.
However, temporary interruptions may occur because of maintenance, technical issues, updates, hosting problems, communication failures, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
